My model of a kiwi beak

We have been looking at animal adaptations and how they help then survive in the wild.
I chose the kiwis beak for my adaptations. I have made a clay model of the kiwis beak. I have also found some information about it.

My class made a slide show of an animal that we wanted to find out more about then we made our first model with Plaster-scene and then we made a good model with clay.

We did this to learn about the animal adaptations and how they live.

  • Kiwis beaks help kiwis to sniff out food.

  • Kiwis nostrils are at the tip of the beak.

  • There beaks help them to smell thing under ground
