W.A.L.T write a recount
Orientation:
On the first week of the holiday’s I went to Shyla’s 7th birthday party at her house. A lot of people came to her party. They were Sunny, Lilly, my Mum, my Dad, Ashlee, Jazmyn, Canada, Teresa, Adam, Kaen, Christine, Skyler, Bella and Talesa. We were going to go to the movies at 2pm to watch Secret Life of Pets.
Sequence of events:
First of all I woke up and then remembered it was the day of Shylah’s birthday party. I had a shower and got dressed for the party. I did my hair and brushed my teeth. After I got ready, we hopped in the car to get Shylah’s present. We got her a art set. I was so excited for the party.
After we bought the present, we went to Shylah’s house for her birthday party and we saw Teresa, Adam, Shylah and her friend Skyla. I played ponies with the girls.
After playing with the girls I helped Shylah if she needed help opening her presents. It was really hard for one person sometimes to open. Skyla was a big help to she helped shylah if she only needed one more person . I was her second person. Canada gave her the biggest present.
Next we all played with them and then my cousin Lilly came to the party. My brothers liam favorite present that shylah got was a remote control car with a pony inside.
Lilly came then sunny came to the party and sunny got shylah a pony toy. Then after a while Talesa came to the party right in time for cake.
Next we had cake it was really sweet and I couldn’t eat it all and it dropped on the ground to. Then we played till 2pm.
At 2pm we left to go to riccarton mall to watch the Secret Life of Pets movie. We also got lolly bags while we were watching the movie and chocolate to. We also got drinks before the movie started I got fanta I can’t remember what Lilly, Shyla, Canada, Ashlee or Jazmyn got.
After the movie we went back to Shylah’s house and got to get a present out of the present box. I got a present where you can make jewelry like bracelets, necklaces, rings and stuff like that. We played some more.
After a while we had tea with shylah we had domino's pizza. I normally have pizza hut pizza but the domino's pizza was good too. There was one pizza that made me want to throw up it had like little green stuff on it.
We were bored so we played hide and seak. These are the people who played Ashlee, Canada, Kayden, Shylah, Lilly, Liam and some of the rounds Jazmyn. We had a couple of rounds then Ashlee made a new rule I can’t remember the rule. Then we played a couple more rounds.
Next we watched ghost videos. I showed a video to Shyla the video ghost car and she was a little bit scard. Also we watched top ten scariest ghosts on camera. It was kind of creepy and scary at the same time.
Next we played more hide and seek. When Lilly was hiding I told the other kids she was inside and she was really outside. It was so funny to tell them that Lilly was inside.
Then after hide and seek Mum and Dad told us it was time to go home I was really sad. I wanted to stay and play with Shyla. But I couldn’t so I said “bye Shyla.”
Conclusion (Ending)
I had so much fun and when I went home I wanted to do it all over again. Because I had so much fun. I am happy for Shyla to be 7 years old now.
